About Bailey

Artistic Director, Bailey Cooke, is the visionary behind Aeternum Choir and is quickly becoming a luminary figure in American choral music. Bailey was born in Washington, D.C. but moved to the Napa Valley in elementary school where he joined a children’s choral ensemble.

In high school, Bailey participated in the advanced Napa High School choir under the direction of Travis Rogers. At UC Davis, Bailey studied vocal performance and directed the Davis Chamber Choir for three years until gradating in 2019. 

Today, Bailey works at a tech start-up, is a classically trained pianist and a frequent guest conductor in the Sacramento and Bay Area. Known for his “ability to create a warm connection between stage and patron" (Sac Choral Calendar), and whose choirs “may be peerless within a 500-mile radius...their technique is commensurate with their artistry (JR Keith), Bailey’s passion for choral singing has touched the hearts of audiences around the globe.
